I think Halloween is the only time of year when my dog wishes we had children.
Here she is modeling her lovely Land Shark costume. I couldn’t help it. Dressing her up amuses me. She actually doesn’t mind just the shark part, but she if highly anti the hat.
Besides the costume, I bought lots of candy, though this year I got stuff I don’t want to eat.
That wont stop me from eating it, but the intent was there. And really, isn’t that what counts?

Culinary Concoctions by Peabody – No stick needed….
[...] Fall is in full swing around these parts and I am loving it. About the only thing I am not big on these days is Halloween. I mean, it’s alright. But we don’t have kids so it’s not all that fun. It is however the only time of year that Crazy Cocker Spaniel wishes we had kids (see here). [...]

So funny. I love it. I am with you on the candy, I eat it all, even if it is something I would never pick if I had my choice. If it is there, I will eat it!

Oh my gosh she is so cute! I wasn’t aware they made halloween costumes for dogs (call me sheltered.. My dog is a big dog and they don’t make cute shirts her size so we ignore all the dog clothes)..
Thanks for sharing and making me smile.

Hi Peabody, I read both your sites often but this is my first time posting a comment. Sorry for lurking! anyways, CCS looks adorable! I like to dress my dog up, too. This Halloween she’s a land lobster.

Yes. I can see ‘why me’ in her eyes. But she is adorable!

My shih tzu was a frankenstien one year, which was just a hat and four paw bands. It looked adorable, but saddly it froze her solid! She was so frightened she just stopped moving completely. So, we snapped a few pics and took it off as quick as possible. No more costumes in her future.

You dressed your dog as a Shark…I love it!
Of course if I tried to do that with my cat, both my arms would be shredded and I would no longer have eyes. And I’m sure she’d leave “presents” inside my shoes.
